Ek stuur met groot blydskap hierdie e-pos aan u. Ek is Sersant Theunissen by Tulbagh SAPD.

 

Op 22 Mei 2012 het ‘n klein mannetjie met ‘n groot tas by die GDS ingestap. Ek kon nie sy lesing bywoon nie as gevolg van my werksaamhede in die GDS. Ek was vir drie maande af siek met ‘n rugoperasie en was toegegooi onder die rekeninge. Ek het egter vir vier weke lank gesukkel met my nuwe PIN om aan te teken by u webtuiste om die eisebetalings na te gaan.

 

Wat vir my verbasend was was dat Godfrey tyd gemaak het om na my toe te kom en my ook te help met my probleem. Binne vyf minute het ek my nuwe PIN gehad, asook ‘n telefoniese oproep oor ‘n rekening wat nog nie betaal was nie. Vanoggend kon ek net die Here dank dat daar nog mense soos hy is wat natuurlik onder U hand uit kom.

 

Ek wil net my dankbaarheid betoon aan Godfrey en POLMED.Ek glo dat die Here saam met hom op die pad sal wees en hoop dat ons meer mense soos hy kan kry. Sy diens aan my was regtig uitstekend.

 

U kan beslis trots wees op hom.

 

Mag God u ook seën vorentoe. Nogmaals baie, baie dankie.

Greetings Mr. Frazenburg.

 

Thank you for the intervention and assistance to secure the appliance for my child.

 

After a lot of phone calls and faxes the claim was settled and paid out today.

 

It is still clear that a lot of confusion exists with members when the need arises to procure appliances.

 

It is also sad to notice that the POLMED claims department does not inform the member directly when they decline a claim made by a member, as sometimes they just need additional information or an invoice or something small. But that such a long period should elapse before one makes an enquiry, only to find out the claim was rejected weeks before.

 

As a preventative measure I registered myself on all POLMED's communication vehicles to track my profile, but as stated above an alert would be appreciated.

 

Thank you for your assistance when I almost gave up on POLMED and that particular process to provide a better life for my family.

 

Keep up the good work. Members like me who work in rural towns really appreciate the face-to-face interaction.

Good day

 

Please be advised that I have been a proud member of POLMED for the past 42 years.

 

I want to bring to your attention that the level of efficient service delivery that was yesterday shown to me by Mr S Mafifi when I had to obtain prior authorisation for an urgent eye operation was of outstanding quality.

 

Needless to say that my state of mind was not of the best, but sound enough to realise what value you have in the person who assisted me with the procedures.

 

Not only was Mr Mafifi very quick and efficient in approving my request in supplying me with the authorisation number, but in a very humane manner brought my spirit level back to normal - to realise that I still have a chance of keeping my eyesight and that I must just believe in a Higher Spirit in whose Hands our lives lie.

 

Mr Mafifi is definitely adding a lot of value to your department - not only as an employee but as a human being. Unfortunately good service like this sometimes goes unnoticed due to the fast pace of living.

 

Would you please be so kind as to bring the contents of my e-mail to his attention and to convey my sincere thanks and gratitude to him and to wish him just the best with his career.

Again I have to bring to your attention the kind attitude that Mrs  Mandisa Mpehle elected from me today.

 

She phoned regarding my mother's POLMED account. She was full of empathy and sincerity and her telephone etiquette is beyond reproach! Not only is she friendly but also full of kindness. I do fully appreciate that she must speak to hundreds of people per day and that not all respondents are polite or happy or some may even be in a bad mood.  She has to deal with them all. She was fresh and sparkling in her approach and that was after 14:00!

 

She is a credit to POLMED and what POLMED stands for! It is a pleasure to speak to people of this calibre!

 

Somewhere somebody has put a lot of thought into it, somebody is doing something right somewhere and it is working! Thank you very much! I just thought I would take a moment and say "thank you" to the Executive of POLMED! We members are sometimes fast to complain and slow to acknowledge good work!

Soos ek reeds aan jou vertel het hoe dit gekom het dat ek 57kg verloor het, vertel ek dit weer.

 

Vroeg in Januarie 2008, het ek begin siek voel nadat ek 'n vakansie gehad het waarin ek 6kg gewig opgetel het. Ek kon nie presies verklaar hoe ek gevoel het nie, maar bo en behalwe die feit dat ek omtrent elke dag hoofpyn ervaar het, swybrand gehad het en baie gesukkel het met sinusitus, slaaploosheid en depressie, was ek ook pal moeg en dronk in die kop. Op 20 Januarie is ek dokter toe, waarna 'n klomp mediese toetse gedoen is. Die dokter het begin praat van kanker en my verwys na 'n uroloog en onkoloog omdat daar te veel bloed in my organe was.

 

Terwyl ek gewag het dat hulle vir my afspraak maak by die onderskeie spesialiste, was ek baie ontsteld en het sommer 'n dokter voorgekeer vir 'n tweede opinie.  Die dokter het my ondersoek en gevind dat my bloeddruk 180 oor 140 was en my meegedeel dat as dit onder beheer is, die bloedtelling in my urine sal stabiliseer. Hy het my onmiddellik onder chroniese behandeling geplaas en vir my pront-uit meegedeel dat ek gewig moet verloor. Op daardie stadium het ek 136 kg geweeg. Ek kan nou uitbrei hoe ongesond my lewenstyl was, maar ek kan dit vir jou op 'n ander geleentheid vertel. Toe ek die aand by die huis kom het ek my vrou meegedeel dat ek onmiddellik gesond gaan begin eet.  Ek dink sy het gedink dit is net nog 'n gier.  Ek is trots om te sê dat ek begin het deur vyf gesonde etes per dag te eet en na nege maande 57kg verloor het.  Ek handhaaf my gewig van 78kg nou al vir 13 maande en is net elke dag meer geditermineerd en gemotiveerd om my gewig so te hou.

 

In Februarie 2010 het ek weer begin sleg voel en het my bloeddruk pille sonder my dokter se medewete gestaak. Ek het begin beter voel en is toe dokter toe waarna hy weer my bloeddruk geneem het en gevind het dat alles normaal is. Geen suiker, geen bloeddruk, geen cholesterol, geen hoofpyne, geen swybrand en geen sinusitus. Ek voel gesonder as ooit in my lewe en ook baie meer energiek. Ek is ook baie trots om te kan getuig dat ek hierdie gewig verloor het, sonder enige hulp van pille of ander middels.

 

Ek is oortuig daarvan dat as ek nie hierdie besluit geneem het nie, ek vandag 'n baie siek 40 jarige sou gewees het, of selfs 'n dooie 40 jarige. Nie net het ek vir my nog baie gesonde jare gespaar nie, maar ook vir POLMED 'n klomp onkostes.

 

Ek kan nog baie gesels oor my ervaring oor my gewigsverlies en kan jou besig hou vir nog 'n uur of twee, maar sal nie nou daarop ingaan nie.

 

Ek het 'n behoefte en begeerte om my storie met ander te deel.  Ek glo daar is baie mense wat dieselfde kon vermag, maar omdat dit vir my so spesiaal is, wil ek graag ander motiveer.

 

Voel asseblief vry om my te kontak indien jy dink dat dit vir enige iemand of organisasie iets kan beteken.

It is my pleasure to inform you of the excellent service I received from Vuyane during my application for approval for my left knee replacement.

 

Vuyane went the extra mile to help. It seemed as if the quote for the prosthesis kept on disappearing. Eventually Vuyane phoned the representative himself and arranged for the quote. He then phoned me with the authorisation number, but he went even further by phoning the surgeon's rooms and giving them the authorisation number as well.

 

At all times Vuyane's attitude was sympathetic, caring and friendly. Although I am used to good and friendly service from the staff handling POLMED queries, I thought what Vuyane did for me, a 71 year old lady recently bereaved from her husband, as exceptional.

 

You can be very proud of him. Please pass this on to the relevant people and thank Vuyane for me once again.
